Step 1: Get to know us

We are excited that you are interested in becoming a covenant member here at River City. As we walk through this process alongside together, we want you to be well informed about who we are and what we believe. There are several resources available to you as you enter into covenant membership.

• Attend a Headwaters Class
• Attend a Baptism Class if you are not yet baptized
• Talk with an elder about covenant membership

Step 2: Apply

When you are ready, we welcome you to apply to become a covenant member. The application helps us know you better, and will give us a chance to answer any of your questions, should any arise.

Step 3: Interview with an Elder

Once we have received your application, our elder team will be in contact with you to set up an interview. This is not like a job interview - this is simply a chance for us to connect with you and walk you through the next steps. The elders will ask you some questions about your faith, and be available to answer any of your questions.

Step 4: Become a Covenant Member

This is a time we can celebrate together as a church community. We will ask all new members to come forward on a Sunday morning and read the church covenant together as a whole congregation as reminder of our commitments to one another. These Sunday mornings are special for our church community, and we are glad to welcome you into our family.
