What if this is my first time at church… ever?

Welcome! It is our aim to welcome all who are weary and in need of rest. We are pursuing Jesus together and believe that He is the only true source of rest and peace in this broken and chaotic world.

If this is a brand new concept to you, we would be delighted to introduce you to Jesus and explore your questions together.

What to Expect

Each Sunday gathering includes worship through song, teaching from the Bible, and time to connect with others. Come as you are—there’s no dress code or pressure to have it all figured out.

Casual or Formal Dress
Show up in a way that's comfortable to you. Most people wear casual or business-casual, but you’re welcome to dress up if you’d like.

Music
We start each Sunday service with singing. Join in the joyful noise, or sit back and reflect on music that honors our gracious God.

Bible-based Sermon
After brief announcements and a chance to greet each other, our pastors preach practically and passionately right from scripture. Sermons range from topical to line-by-line preaching through a book of the Bible. At the end of the service, all believers are invited to take communion.

Childcare & Kids
We provide secure childcare and programming for kids up to second grade, and are delighted to have kids join you in the service.

Nursing Room
We provide a mother & baby room for all babies under 1 year old. This is in our worship hall, so you won't miss a thing if you need to step away for a bit.

Food
We serve coffee and pastries every Sunday morning (including gluten-free options!), and we enjoy sharing meals together as a church at different events throughout the year. We believe that meals are one of the best ways to share life together.

Kids & Families
on Sunday Morning

River City Kids offers a safe, fun environment for children (infant–2nd grade) to learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways.
-> Volunteers are trained and background checked, and check-in opens 15 minutes before service.

Babies (under 1)
We provide a mother & baby room for nursing or soothing little ones, connected to the worship hall so you won’t miss the service. You’re welcome to use it anytime during the gathering.

Toddlers & Preschool (ages 1–5)
We offer engaging, age-appropriate programming for this age group throughout the entire service. Our team is trained and background-checked to ensure a caring and attentive environment.

Elementary (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)
Kids through second grade can join children’s programming before the sermon. They’ll enjoy interactive learning and activities designed to help them grow in faith.

Older Kids (3rd Grade)
Kids older than second grade are invited to join the full service with the congregation. We love having them among us and encourage them to participate fully in worship.

Beyond Sunday Mornings
River City Family

Alongside Sunday mornings, we offer ways for kids, students, and families to grow in faith and friendship throughout the year. From youth gatherings and seasonal events to family discipleship resources and shared meals, we love walking alongside families as they follow Jesus together.
